Enters

into another world.

Admittedly, when we talk about our exhibition, we go into raptures. Even if many details are primarily for connoisseurs and collectors, such as the life-size film figures, the premium format 1:4 collector figures from Sideshow or the 1:6 figures from Hot Toys, there are also countless exhibits that fascinate children, such as Han Solo frozen in carbonite or our limited Lego models - including a 3.20 long Star Destroyer consisting of 400,000 individual parts.

Our highlights include laser sword and weapon replicas from the Star Wars films, spaceship models from Master Replica and Attakus and various large, detailed dioramas, as well as 1:18 scale making-of dioramas from Maxx Replicas and our handmade prototypes. We are particularly proud of the battle on the ice planet Hoth, which was recreated over a period of 6 months in the remodelled pool of the former Imperial Baths. The star of the Hoth diorama is of course the AT-AT (All Terrain Armoured Transporter) with a length of 5.80 metres and a height of 4.50 metres. This model was built in 1999 for the premiere of the STAR WARS „Special Edition“ and travelled around the world as a promotional exhibit until it found its way into our exhibition in 2007.

Of course, he's not to be missed either: Our C-3PO Animatronic is a life-size figure with lighting, sound and computer-controlled movement sequences. It has lots of details and is modelled 1:1 on C-3PO from Episode V. Yes, and then there's the one question that naturally stands above everything else: In the life-size recreated „Who shot first?“ scene, you can be Han Solo and have your photo taken with his blaster as he shoots Greedo.

Accessibility:

Our exhibition is located in a former swimming pool.

Unfortunately, it is therefore Not completely barrier-free. There are 4 steps at the entrance and a staircase at the beginning of the exhibition.

Light wheelchairs/walkers/pushchairs can be carried up these stairs, and from then on 80% of the exhibition is at ground level and wheelchair accessible.

At the end of the exhibition, however, you enter the former swimming pool, where there are 2 more steps, which are unfortunately an obstacle for wheelchair users. The costume collection and the ice world are therefore unfortunately difficult or impossible to reach for people with walking disabilities.
